Abstract
Augmented Reality is developing owing to the advancements in computer graphics and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Fast paced industrial development has permitted Augmented Reality experiences to be delivered on cell phones. Interaction and Design challenges are created due to the distinctive information presentation and interaction style of Mobile Augmented Reality systems (MAR). Latest research shows the need to comprehend the end User Experience (UX) in such systems to overcome these unique interaction and design challenges. This paper surveys the development and advancements in MAR from UX viewpoint. Furthermore, a systematic study on measuring user aesthetics as non-instrumental quality attributes to measure the UX for existing MAR applications is presented.
