Abstract
In this paper, the authors analyze and research the testing results of the human head motion, and construct the stochastic mathematics model for the human head motion with the result that the human head motion can be taken as a Guass-Markov stochastic process. Based on the kalman filter, a effective algorithm for head-motion prediction is proposed. Theory analysis and simulation show that this algorithm can advance the prediction precision and visual lag in virtual reality can be effectively reduced.
