Abstract
Sight and hearing senses are commonly used in virtual reality applications to provide users immersion. However, it is possible to enhance immersion exploring the other human senses. This paper aims to present a hardware and software solution to build virtual reality applications using olfactory stimulus. We build a display olfactory device and a library to develop the applications. It is also presented a case study.
