Abstract
This study focuses on the design of a user interface that can be used in virtual reality applications for enhancing spatial experiences. We performed a type analysis of the various tasks that are used in social virtual reality services. Based on this analysis, we propose an accordion type of user interface suitable for application. We assume that this metaphorical accordion interface will not only provide spatial awareness in a virtual environment, but also give the user the freedom to move both hands.
